SCHOLARSHIPS


Under the Registrar’s Office:

Senior high school graduates with honors, with high and highest honors from both public and private schools of no less than 40 students are granted entrance scholarship for a period of a semester if they pass the SPU Iloilo qualifying examination and subject to renewal if the student maintain the average grade requirement.

After being a part of the Entrance Scholarship program for a semester, the students who are still qualified will be part of the Academic Scholarship if they meet the grade requirement.

Full tuition discount is granted to continuing students who obtain a general weighted average of 95% with no grades below 90%. Half tuition discount is granted to a student with a weighted average of of 93% with no grade below 90% in any of the subjects.

  • This scholarship program is sponsored by the Commission on Higher Education. This is given to deserving students who passed under the standards approved and required by CHED.

    This scholarship program is provided to students whose parent is a member, active or retired, of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

    This program is given to students whose parent is a US Army veteran. This is also intended for the student who is active in the service.


    SPUI Subsidy Educational Program:

    This scholarship program has been initiated and is funded by Ms. Eva Soloveres Mondejar, a graduate of St. Paul School of Nursing, now known as St. Paul University Iloilo. She belongs to class, Cor Jessies 1960. In gratitude to God for the blessings she has received and in appreciation of her Paulinian nursing education, she has pledged to sponsor deserving college students accepted to enroll at St. Paul University Iloilo to finish the course they have chosen, preferably non-Nursing and non-Physical Therapy courses.

    The scholarship grant includes payment of tuition fee only for a four-year course including summer classes as required by the course. The grant may extend to the preparation and taking of the licensure examination, if necessary, and as approved.

    This educational program is given to deserving students who desire to have a Paulinian education but with financial limitation. It is open to incoming freshmen college students who have passed the university requirements including the entrance exam. This program is for the applicants who will preferably take non-nursing and non-physical therapy courses.

  • SHS Grade 11 – Php20,000.00/Public School
         plus Php15,000.00 SPUI discount – First 100 (from public school only)
         total is Php35,000.00 subsidy
