January 16, 2018. Iloilo City. The 2018 Grand Alumni Homecoming kicked off on January 14, 2018 with the Medical-Dental mission and blood letting activities spearheaded by the College of Nursing faculty, staff, and alumni. And other major activities are lined up for the Jubilarians coming from different parts of the world (yes, the world!) and the Philippines.
On January 17th, the golden, sapphire, and ruby jubilarians will have their recollection at the Mere Monique Home in Ticud, Lapaz.
On January 18th, an International Forum will be held at 8:00 am at the Marian Theater, followed by “Paul’s Talks” at 1:00 pm also at the same venue. The forum will feature SPUI alumni in their different fields of endeavor and offer some professional thoughts and practical guides on how Paulinians influence their own professional spheres. Then on the 19th, in recognition of where all our gifts come from, a thanksgiving mass will be held at 3:00 pm at the St Paul’s Hospital Chapel. A welcome program and dinner will follow at the Fr. Louis Chauvet Gymnasium of SPUI. As a highlight, a dinner-dance at the Iloilo Convention Center will be held on January 20, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
A special treat follows for alumni who plan to stay longer in Iloilo City. A concert by an international artist, Stephen Speaks will be held on January 22, 2018 at 5:00 pm for the SPUI academic community!
To all, Caritas Christi urget nos. May the love of Christ impel us in whatever we do, wherever we are as Paulinians!
