“Edwin Nonato, Jr. and Reian Angelo Polines, BS Biology 4 students, joined the 19th BIOTA-WV Regional Quiz Bowl last March 29, 2025 in CPMT Bldg, University of San Agustin, Iloilo City together with Ms. Merle Ann Tajolosa, MEd, LPT, their coach, and Dr. Sharon Ann Mendoza, BS Biology Program Chair.

The students did fairly well in the three categories (easy, average, and difficult) with 16 other competing duos.

To support them were two of their juniors – Nico Galele and John Esguerra and Mr. Ron Hermoso, Science Laboratory Assistant.”
