Last March 21, 2025, the Paulinian Nursing Students Organization (PNSO), through the dedication of the Community & Discipline Team, successfully conducted a Womenโs & Hearts Month 2025 Celebration at Brgy. Calaparan, Arevalo, Iloilo City. This impactful event was spearheaded by PNSO Commissioners Kent Venice G. Contador and Deyn Wenah Marie M. Buenaflor, with the unwavering support of the community and various partners.

With the goal of promoting womenโs health, awareness, and empowerment, a total of 150 individuals benefited from the following free healthcare services and educational seminars:
- Free Cervical Screening
- Free HPV DNA Testing
- Free ECG Monitoring by SPH Internal Medicine Department
- STD Awareness Seminar by Dr. Sharon Faith Pagunsan
- VAWC & BSE Seminar held at Melchor L. Nava National High School, led by PMSg Erika D. Benjamin of WCPD – ICPO and Level 2 nursing students
Additionally, participants received hygiene kits, along with free snacks and drinks, ensuring not only their well-being but also their comfort throughout the event.
This initiative was made possible through the collaboration with the WVMC OB-Gyne Department, led by – Dr. Arnold P. Liwag, Dr. Aura Marie G. Tirasol, Dr. Niรฑylyn C. Calicaran, Ms. Jeny Ann Aguero, RM, Ms. Mercy Rose Catedral, RM.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the selected Level 2, 3, and 4 student nurses and the Brgy. Calaparan Officials, headed by Brgy. Captain Renante Tubolla, for their invaluable support in making this event a success.
This Womenโs Month, we celebrate not just the strength of women but also the collective effort to ensure their health, safety, and empowerment. Together, we continue the fight for a healthier and more empowered future!
