BEED program receives Government Recognition

The Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEEd) Program of the College of Teacher Education of this institution was granted government recognition ( GR  No.1, Series of 2012) through the Commission on Higher Education on January 16, 2012.

The BEED program offers two majors, namely; Special Education (SPED) and Pre-School Education (PSEd). With its first batch of graduates next year, 2013, the college plans to offer another major which is the BEEd major in General Education.  BSEd programs on  the other hand, already been granted recognition by CHED with Biological Science as its major program will offer additional five majors effective June 2012-13. These are BSEd major in English, Mathematics, Filipino, Social Studies and Values Education.

The department now undertakes the procedure for CHED’s approval of these new programs.
