St. Paul U servant leaders are chosen as champions


ST. PAUL U BEARER OF SERVANT LEADERS

Student servant leaders from St. Paul U garnered a championship award for the school at the 1st Western Visayas Student Leaders Summit, “Student Leader: A Brand of Change.”  Held on October 25-27, 2014 at Punta Villa Resort, Iloilo City, the summit was participated by the student leaders from different schools in Western Visayas.

One of the activities at the leadership event was the Advocacy Drive Competition that was participated by nine schools, including St. Paul U. The Paulinian student leaders, Ernan Canitan, Jojie Paguntalan, Krystal Joy Apostolero, Sharmine Joy Salarna, all from the Paulinian Student Government (PSG), and Karah Nillasca from the CAS circle, presented their advocacy campaign, “Better Future… Better Lives… Better Philippines,” a scholarship program for elementary and high school students. The St. Paul U student leaders were chosen as one of the champions, along with their peers from Central Philippine University High School Department and Aklan State University.

The three-day summit was sponsored by the United Student Councils of Iloilo (USCI) in partnership with iLead Trainings and Diaz Speech & Personality Development.
