Three nursing students from St. Paul University Iloilo (SPUI) represented the university at the 7th International Conference on Multidisciplinary and Current Educational Research (ICMCER 2025) held on October 24–25, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan.

The delegation was composed of Deyn Wenah Marie Buenaflor, Kent Venice G. Contador, and Justine Ganancial, all fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing students. The group presented their research paper titled “Stories of Newly Employed Nurses in Iloilo City” under the mentorship of Sarah Jane Tajanlangit, MAN, RN, research adviser and faculty member of the College of Nursing.

The event, organized by the Institute for Engineering Research and Publication (IFERP) Academy, brought together researchers and educators from various disciplines to discuss emerging studies and innovations in education and practice.

The participation of SPUI’s nursing students in the international forum highlights the university’s continuing engagement in global research initiatives and its support for undergraduate research dissemination.
