St. Paul University Iloilo successfully held the Paulinian Leadership Training 2025 on August 6–7, gathering student leaders from various colleges for two days of learning, collaboration, and capacity building.
The annual training aims to prepare Paulinian leaders for the academic year through the enhancement of knowledge, skills, and values, ensuring alignment with the Paulinian Student Government (PSG) Constitution and By-Laws, and fostering a shared vision for servant leadership.
Day 1: Inspiring Leadership from the Heart
The opening day provided a meaningful platform for leaders to reflect on their purpose, refine their leadership style, and strengthen teamwork.
- Karmela Alexandra Jesena, SPUI alumna and General Manager of Festive Walk, opened with “Who Am I as a Leader: The Heart of Leadership,” encouraging self-awareness and clarity of vision.

Day 2: Strengthening Governance and Organizational Identity
The second day centered on governance and sustainability. Krezyl Joyce Pugna-Jardeleza, National Youth Commission (NYC) Western Visayas Cluster Head, guided participants in revisiting and refining their Constitutions and By-Laws, ensuring clear, transparent, and values-driven policies.
Leaders then presented their strengthened documents, reflecting a commitment to organized and accountable leadership.
NYC representatives also introduced the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP), offering a framework for formalizing advocacies and sustaining organizational impact.

United for the Year Ahead
The Paulinian Leadership Training 2025 became a reality through the collaborative efforts of the PSG, NYC, resource speakers, and the active involvement of student leaders.
As the sessions concluded, participants carried with them not only practical leadership tools but also a renewed dedication to serve the Paulinian community with integrity, compassion, and excellence.
