The College of Information and Communication Technology (CICT) celebrated their 6th CICT Days last February 20 to 22. The event was participated by students from four programs: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Information System, and Ladderized Information Technology. The entire student population of CICT was divided into three competing groups: Team Cheetah, Team Jaguar, and Team Tiger.
The CICT Days, an annual college celebration, is aimed at developing the bond of camaraderie of the CICT students through participation in games and showcase of talents. These three-day event is also an opportunity for students to engage in a healthy competition while applying all the skills and knowledge they acquired in their studies.
The first day started with the paraliturgy, oath of sportsmanship, and a championship game in basketball at Monte Rosa. On the second day, the students stayed in campus for numerous games that were delightfully enjoyed by the CICT students who like computer games. February 21 started with a quiz bowl, followed by a competition in web designing and digital arts, and charades or “pinoy henyo”. The afternoon was ended with LAN Games and Counterstrike. On February 22, students had their amazing race the entire morning. To end the three-day event, CICT had their fellowship night which includes presentations of promotional video and music video. The night ended with the awarding ceremony with team tiger as champions.
