SPU Iloilo participates in PAPJA Convention

The Psychology students of St. Paul University Iloilo participated in the Psychological Association of the Philippines Junior Affiliates (PAPJA) Convention last January 12-16, 2012 at Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Intramuros, Manila.

Program Chairman Mr. Noel Bedia and Department Faculty Member Ms. Ma. Luisa Hervas accompanied the ten junior and senior students in the said gathering of Psychology teachers and majors all over the archipelago.

From the program chairman’s point of view, he believes, “The PAPJA Convention is the students’ training ground in preparation for their future professional world. It is also one way of determining the program and their personal competency vis-à-vis the Psychology programs and products of other universities and colleges offering the degree.”

The event was composed of plenary talks from respected Psychology experts of the country, concurrent sessions of workshops and presentations for the participants, and academic and physical contests such as quiz bee and dance in which our very own students were able to show the capabilities and strengths of Paulinian psychologists.
