SPU Iloilo Embarks on Internationalization for New Academic Year

St. Paul University Iloilo is gearing up for a globally-oriented Academic Year 2024-25.

During the university’s Pre-Opening Activity on August 14, Sr. Teresita Baricaua, SPC, University President, underscored internationalization as a primary goal for the institution.

Sr. Teresita declared the university’s commitment to produce globally competitive individuals through fostering internationalization efforts.

Likewise, she emphasized the university’s drive to become a beacon of excellence on the international stage.

SPUI’s vision of a Catholic university cultivating servant-leaders for a diverse world aligns perfectly with this thrust.

The university’s internationalization efforts are guided by the Commission on Higher Education Memorandum Order No. 55 Series of 2016.

As SPUI integrates global perspectives into its curriculum and operations, it aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in an interconnected world.

By prioritizing internationalization, SPUI seeks to broaden its students’ horizons, foster cultural exchange, and contribute to a more globally connected society.
