SPU Iloilo and South Korean School Establish Partnership for Global Education

St. Paul University Iloilo took a significant step towards global education on August 15, 2024, as it inked a partnership with Gyeongbuk Technical High School of Daegu City, South Korea.

The partnership formalized during the university’s Pre-Opening Activity at Marian Hall, aims to enhance education and cultural exchange between the two institutions.

The cooperation encompasses a wide range of collaborative activities, including student exchange programs, internships, cultural exchanges, and joint research initiatives.

Both schools will work together to promote character education, global citizenship, and 21st-century learning skills.

Sr. Teresita Baricaua, SPC, President of SPU Iloilo, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing its potential to broaden students’ horizons and foster intercultural understanding.

Mr. Geunho Park, School Principal of Gyeongbuk Technical High School, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the benefits of collaboration for both institutions.

This partnership marks a new chapter in SPU Iloilo’s commitment to global education and underscores the university’s dedication to providing its students with a well-rounded and internationally-focused learning experience.
