Sir Nerlan Encajonado, a Licensed Professional Teacher, MSN, values flexibility as a key to overcoming life’s challenges. Though he is adaptable, he strives to improve his time management by organizing his activities more systematically.

Outside the St. Paul University Iloilo corridors, sir Nerlan enjoys hosting and planning events. He even supports students from other schools in competitions like pageants. Open to criticism, he believes feedback is essential for personal growth and sees it as a way to adapt and improve.

Content with his life, sir Nerlan would not change anything instantly, even if given the chance. His passions range from art and dance to literature and culture, and he excels in connecting with people, often forming friendships easily. While his strong, vocal nature is one of his strengths, his tendency to trust easily is a personal challenge for him.

Sir Nerlan’s faith is central to his life, he prays for those with bad intentions rather than harboring negativity. His biggest fear is losing his parents before he fulfills the dreams he has for them. He finds relief in being appreciated, especially by his students, who motivate him daily.

A highlight and a significant moment in sir Nerlan’s life was leaving the seminary, which changed his life’s direction. Though it brought culture shock, his positivity helped him adapt. He has no regrets about his choices, believing they’ve enriched his life in unexpected ways.

As a religion teacher, his goal is to guide his students toward moral and ethical behavior. He teaches not for the salary, but to share the word of God and shape future generations. Describing himself as “flexible,” sir Nerlan thrives at St. Paul University Iloilo, where his colleagues and students have made him feel at home.

Sir Nerlan Encajonado embodies adaptability, compassion, and a deep passion for both teaching and personal growth, always striving to make a meaningful impact on those around him.
