Three faculty members from the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education of St. Paul University Iloilo (SPUI) attended the Psychological Association of the Philippines Convention (PAPCON) 2024, celebrating PAPCON’s Diamond Jubilee.
Johmel Labrador, Program Chair of the BS Psychology program, along with full-time faculty member Bernacel Neri and part-time instructor Glenn Kenneth Esguerra, participated in the convention held at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center on September 26-27 and Saint Louis University on September 28.
The three-day event featured keynote speakers, plenary sessions, and poster presentations.
Attendees explored this year’s theme, “60 Years of Philippine Psychology: Celebrating Glocal Milestones and Navigating Trends in Research and Practice” while connecting with psychology practitioners.
The three-day convention offered opportunities for knowledge-sharing, networking, and cultural immersion, fostering collaboration among psychology professionals, educators, and researchers from across the country.
