Students and faculty of BSND 4 had the opportunity to participate in two esteemed events hosted by the Nutritionist-Dietitians’ Association of the Philippines (NDAP) from February 18 to 20, 2025, at The Manila Hotel.
On February 18, 2025, they attended the 2025 NDAP Foundation-PASOO Symposium, themed “Navigating Excellence in Nutrition and Dietetics in the Philippines.” This insightful session explored the challenges and lessons faced by RNDs in food service, innovative approaches in nutrition communication, and the nutritional status of the elderly.
The delegation is also participating in the 70th NDAP Annual Convention, held from February 18 to 20, where renowned international experts are sharing groundbreaking insights into clinical nutrition, public health, and food service management.
This experience has provided students and faculty with a deeper understanding of the real-world challenges and innovations in nutrition and dietetics. They have gained practical insights from experts, learned new approaches in food service and public health, and further recognized the vital role of RNDs in improving lives through nutrition.
