The Paulinians joined the CEAP’s Youth Camp held last March 15 and 16, 2024 in Saint Anthony’s College, Antique. The students were accompanied by two SHS Faculty, Miss Alyssa Garrido and Sir Vernie Diaz.

I. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. Graduate of a High School recognized by the government.
2. Satisfactory marks on the basic subjects in the course applied for.
3. The following credentials to be submitted to the Guidance center upon the application:
a. An accomplished APPLICATION FORM from the Guidance Center furnished by the applicant.
b. Form 138 (High School card)
c. CERTIFICATE OF GOOD MORAL CHARCTER from the high school principal.
d. LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION from high school adviser, teacher, counselor, or principal.
e. An accomplished APPLICATION FORM from the Guidance Center furnished by the applicant.
f. Form 138 (High School card)
g. CERTIFICATE OF GOOD MORAL CHARCTER from the high school principal.
h. LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION from high school adviser, teacher, counselor, or principal.
4. Satisfactory result in the SPU Iloilo Entrance Examination.
5. Satisfactory result in the SPU Iloilo Medical/Dental Examinations. All laboratory tests shall be done at St. Paul’s Hospital, Iloilo City
a. Laboratories (Chest X-Rays, ECG, CBC, Urinalysis, Fecalysis)
b. Dental Examination (University Dentist)
c. Physical Examination (University Clinic)
6. The NURSING APPTITUDE TEST (NAT) is required for Nursing Applicants.
7. Applications who are married or single parents are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED for enrollment.
Transferees may be admitted to the first and second year levels of the University on a case to case basis.
They are required the followings:
- Honorable dismissal (Transfer Credentials)
- Letter of Recommendation from the College Dean or Guidance Counselor.
- Certificate of Good Moral Character.
- Copy of Grades (Transcript of Records)
- Satisfactory interview with the College Dean or Committee on Admission.
- Photocopy of AUTHENTICATED BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
- Photocopy of BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE.
- Satisfactory result in the SPU Iloilo Entrance Examination
- Satisfactory result in the SPU Iloilo Medial/Dental Examination. All laboratory tests shall be done at St. Paul’s Hospital, Iloilo City

II. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION AND ADMISSION:
1. Secure Application Form from the University Guidance Center.
2. Fill-out the Form
3. Submit accomplished form together with the aforementioned requirements one week before chosen date of entrance examination.
4. Get an entrance examination permit from the Guidance Counselor.
5. Take the entrance examination as scheduled. Present your permit to the examiner upon entering the examination room.
6. Results of the entrance examination will be released one (1) week after testing date. This will posted at the University Bulletin Board
7. Accepted applicants are required to undergo the Physical Examination and submit Form 138 (High School Card) original copy
ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS
High school Valedictorians and Salutatorians for public schools from a class no less than (40) students are granted entrance scholarship for a period of a semester if they pass the SPU Iloilo Qualifying Examinations and subject to renewal if the students maintain the required average.
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS
Full tuition discount is granted to continuing students who obtain a weighted average of 95% with no grade below 90%. Half tuition discount is granted to a student with a weighted average of 93% with no grade below 85% in any of the subjects. A scholar should carry the regular load of 18 units in the program where he/she is enrolled and must have earned the specified the scholar’s average the previous semester. This academic scholarship is granted after the second semester at SPU Iloilo.
