St. Paul University Iloilo proudly celebrates its latest international achievement — ranked 79th in the Culture/Values Category of the prestigious 2025 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI). This honor highlights SPUI’s unwavering commitment to nurturing innovation rooted in compassion, service, and the core Paulinian values that shape both minds and communities.

This global recognition would not have been possible without the collective efforts of the entire university community. Special commendation goes to the Community Extension Services for its flagship “Community Extension Service Innovative Program,” a model of values-driven innovation that continues to uplift lives and build stronger, more empowered communities.

SPUI also gratefully acknowledges the significant contributions of its various colleges, departments, and offices, each of which has played a vital role in advancing impactful community extension initiatives. Through health missions, literacy and livelihood programs, environmental efforts, and faith-based outreach, these units have embodied the university’s mission of service to society.
