SPUI Iloilo Partners with PNVSCA to Strengthen Volunteerism

St. Paul University Iloilo (SPUI) has forged a partnership with the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) to foster a culture of volunteerism within the institution.

A formal agreement was signed on August 16, 2024, during the university’s pre-opening activities, marking the commencement of this collaboration.

The partnership seeks to embed volunteerism into the core of SPUI’s identity, encouraging participation from students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Through this alliance, SPUI commits to supporting PNVSCA’s mission of promoting volunteerism as a catalyst for national development.

This involves actively participating in volunteer-related campaigns, undertaking research to deepen understanding of volunteerism’s impact, and establishing a well-organized volunteer service corp.

In return, PNVSCA will provide invaluable expertise to SPUI through technical assistance and capacity building initiatives.

The agency will also facilitate connections with international volunteer organizations, broadening the horizons of SPUI’s volunteer programs.
