Paulinian Graduate Soars to 2nd Place in December 2024 PT Licensure Exam

Andrei Daylan J. Villaruz, a proud graduate of St. Paul University Iloilo, achieved an outstanding feat by ranking 2nd in the December 2024 Physical Therapist Licensure Exam (PTLE) with an impressive rating of 90.40%.

In a heartfelt social media post, Villaruz expressed his gratitude and determination, sharing, “When you want something, you have to defy what seems inconceivable… Being ranked 2nd in the board exams was both a delight and an honor, not only for me but also for the people who have been with me and supported me since day one.”

He extended his thanks to his alma mater, stating, “St. Paul University Iloilo has always been supportive of our department’s endeavors and integral to our success. I truly cannot thank the Paulinian community enough.”

The university also celebrated an admirable overall performance rating of 76.09% in the PTLE, surpassing the national passing rate of 70.94%.

The Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) announced that 1,206 out of 1,700 examinees passed the exams, conducted on December 6-7, 2024.

This achievement highlights the excellence and commitment of Paulinians to academic and professional success, bringing pride to the St. Paul University Iloilo community.
